HERE ARE SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does the difference in batches indicate a difference in strength and how powerful the oils are?
No, due to the nature of the process our oils are hand made in batches and therefore there can be slight differences between each batch. This can affect the smell, taste, colour and even consistency of the oils. However, and the end of each process samples of each batch are sent to to third party laboratories to ensure that they provide the correct amount of CBD as printed on the packaging. Please rest assured any differences between the batches should not cause any concern or harm.

HOW DO I DECIDE WHICH STRENGTH TO TAKE?
We offer full spectrum CBD oils which is extracted from organic cannabis sativa grown plants. These are all whole plant extracts, offering additional cannabinoid and terpene profiles. (These terpenes, not only are they responsible for the scent on the plants, they also offer therapeutic benefits also). Due to the Government not recognizing cannabis as having any medicinal value we cannot make any recommendations. If we do, the MHRA and other agencies could consider this as making a claim about our oil as treatments, therefore promoting it as medicine which is illegal and if found to be breaking these rules, we as a company could be shut down. The other reason we cannot make recommendations is that we just don’t know. Everybody has an endocannabinoid system, which is the system that directly interacts with the compounds in cannabis. We as humans, have different lifestyles and interactions and as such our bodies will respond differently to the individual extracts which means what is good for one, may not be good for another. For example, two people with the same condition on paper may respond differently to the exact same extract. This is why we offer a range of extracts in the hope that when you choose our oils, you will be able to find the best to suit you as an individual. Our advice is to start with a lower or middle of the road strength oil.
WHY DO YOU SELL ORGANIC AND NON ORGANIC ESSENTIAL OILS?
Our aim is to bring to our clients products made by nature. We have found that whilst selling organic essential oils has been a hit with our customers; we have also had many requests for non organic oils due to the price point. Obviously we always promote the potential benefits of using organic products; (plants not treated with pesticides or chemicals), but the decision is ultimately up to the customer. We appreciate all of our customers wanting to support us whether it’s due to our brilliant customer service or company ethos.
DOES THAT MEAN YOU SELL NON ORGANIC CBD OILS?
No, all the CBD oils we sell are straight up 100% organic. They are grown far away from pollution sites and no chemicals or pesticides are used at any stage throughout the process from planting to processing.
IS CBD OIL THE SAME AS CANNABIS OIL?
No, they are different. CBD oil comes from the cannabis sativa plant, which contains only trace amounts of THC, no more than 0.2% whereas cannabis oil comes from high-THC cannabis plants.
The main difference between these two plants is that the hemp plant contains less than 0.2% THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive compound in cannabis, and so cannot get you ‘high’, whereas the cannabis plant that is used for cannabis oil contains much higher levels of THC and is therefore psychoactive. Apart from this definition, the two plants are virtually identical.
As cannabis oil contains higher levels of THC (more than 0.2%), it is currently illegal in the UK. Some people appear to benefit from taking oil with the higher levels of THC (certain types of epilepsy for example) but this should only be taken if prescribed by a physician. The UK government began to prescribe cannabis oil to patients with extreme conditions in October 2018.
CAN YOUR OILS TREAT CANCER?
Unfortunately we cannot make any medicinal claims about our CBD oils. We cannot offer any advice regarding cancer treatment – in fact we can’t make any claims about any health condition. The oils have ben made and sold as supplements – not medication. In 1939, the government passed a legislation; the ‘1939 Cancer Act’ which prohibits any discussion around the use of any cancer treatment that is not government approved. We understand that people will want to do whatever they can to try and beat cancer. We are aware that some people feels that cannabis can be a cure for cancer; but we have to stress that cannabis is not a cure all supplement. It is a very useful supplement to improve quality of life, but we would not advocate it as a one stop cure for all ailments.
SO, HOW WILL CBD HELP ME?
As we have stated above, we cannot make medicinal claims regarding our CBD Oils. We would however advise you to read the testimonials and research the internet for the many reasons why people may be interested in trying CBD oils.

CAN I TAKE CBD DURING MY PREGNANCY?
The FSA (Food Standard Agency) does not recommend taking CBD products during pregnancy. If it’s something you want to do, please do your research and consult with your GP and Midwifery team.
CAN I GIVE CBD TO MY CHILD UNDER 18?
Whilst we have seen many children/young people take CBD supplements with great success; we advise you speak to your GP prior to supplementing their diet with CBD Oil. This could be due to the fact that they may have underlying issues which needs a confirmed diagnosis. We do not knowingly sell CBD oils to customers under the age of 18 years.
I TAKE OTHER MEDICATIONS CAN I TAKE CBD AS WELL?
The Food Standard Agency have advised that consumers who take prescribed medication should not take CBD without discussing this with a medical practitioner. However, for our customers who are already consuming CBD and feel that they wish to continue taking CBD with their prescribed medication it is a personal choice as the FSA are only issuing guidelines.
There are forums on Facebook you could try and join, for example, “Herbal Alternatives” which includes qualified medical herbalists and well-informed CBD users where the use of CBD products can be openly discussed.
We do however; advise that there is a two hour gap between taking with OTC / prescribed medication and using CBD. This is due to the fact that the liver enzymes responsible for processing prescribed medications are the same one responsible for breaking down CBD products also. Taking them together without the gap will result in reduced or an over increased effects of each; which is not helpful in managing your health conditions safely. Whilst it is not life threatening; it is advised to take note of any changes to your health whilst taking CBD alongside your medications.
In any case, we always advise you speak to your GP if you are thinking about supplementing your diet with CBD.
